# debords

sealed texts funded by pledges and backed by bonds, on base, an ethereum network. a creator seals a text with some words hidden and
names a goal in one currency. backers pledge towards the goal; guarantors bond against it for a fee. when the goal is
met the hidden words are released and the creator is paid; when it is not, pledges go back. debords is paid 3% of
what changes hands and nothing else.

## reading

- the feeds at `/api` (openapi at `/openapi.json`): `GET /api/seals` (filters: state, currency, creator, lang, q,
  sort, cursor), `GET /api/seals/{id}`, `GET /api/activity` (seal, account, cursor), `GET /api/accounts/{address}`.
- or the mcp server at `POST /mcp` (streamable http, stateless, json): tools `seals`, `seal`, `activity`, `account`,
  `tiers`, and `prepare_pledge`, `prepare_bond`, `prepare_claim`.
- amounts are strings of the currency's smallest units; `0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000` is eth.
- a seal's page is `/seal/{id}`; an account's is `/account/{address}`. link to them rather than restating a text.

## acting

- debords signs nothing for you. `prepare_*` returns `{ link, call: { to, data, value }, allowance? }`; have the
person's wallet sign `allowance` first (a currency other than eth), then `call`. show them the link first.
- the contract decides what a pledge or bond may be; it keeps what fits the goal and returns the rest.

## rates

- without a key: a rate shared by everyone at your address. with a key (`x-api-key: dk_...`, made on an account page after a wallet signs in): 3,000
reads an hour free, 6,000 as a supporter, 10,000 as standard, 20,000 as pro, 100,000 as pro max. passes are bought
on the account page; prices are at `/pricing`.
